Milgro is one of the founding members of the foundation Samen Tegen Voedselverspilling (United Against Food Waste, previously Taskforce Circular Economy in Food), a collaboration of knowledge institutes, non-profits, companies and government. The aim of the foundation is to reduce food waste in the Dutch food chain by half before 2030.

At the yearly event of the foundation, entitled “Pure Profit”, Milgro presented its proven approach, which is based on unique technology and data. Milgro’s approach makes avoidable wastage visible and actively reduces it, leading to direct economic and ecologic profit.
